Youth Forum and information sessionA series of scientific conferences will be held for specialists but younger visitors are given special consideration at Noma Day with information sessions and a forum reserved exclusively for them. They can learn about and better understand noma by meeting and listening to the testimonies of two young Burkinabes who have experienced and overcome the obstacles of this disease.
![]() At the end of the forum, a debate will take place in the manner of the World Health Assembly to enable its young participants to take stances and make recommendations to develop a Resolution for eliminating noma. An educational action has been launched in schools to encourage students to get involved in Noma Day.
Classes and teachers can take advantage of this opportunity to introduce a lesson plan on the North-South economy and the effects of poverty on a major population of humanity. Conctact
